Privacy Policy

Poachd is a workforce platform ("Poachd", "we", "us"). This policy covers poachd.co and the Poachd application. Contact us at hello@poachd.co for any privacy request.

• Account details. Name, email and authentication identifiers. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from that provider - never your password.
• Capability profile. Trade, skills, certifications, tickets, years of experience, rate expectations, availability, preferred locations and travel radius.
• Credential documents. Photos or scans of licences, tickets and identity documents you choose to upload for verification, plus the text extracted from them.
• Network activity. Requirements and watchlists, poach requests and interest, matches, messages exchanged, placements and their status.
• Billing records. Subscription and placement fee records for contractors. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor and never stored by Poachd.
• Technical data. Log and error data needed to keep the service running and secure.

• Building your capability profile and matching you with roles or workers.
• Verifying licences and tickets so contractors can trust what a profile claims.
• Sending in-app and email notifications about matches, messages and verification outcomes.
• Producing aggregated, de-identified market intelligence such as rate ranges and shortage indicators.
• Billing contractors, preventing fraud and abuse, and meeting our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not publish your identity documents, and we do not share your contact details with a contractor before you match.

Tradesperson profiles are shown to verified contractor accounts for matching purposes. Your name, contact details and messages become visible to a contractor once a match exists. Credential documents are stored in private storage and are only opened by Poachd verification staff through time-limited links - contractors see the verification outcome, not the document.

We use a small number of processors to run Poachd: cloud hosting and database infrastructure, an AI provider used to read uploaded credentials and generate matching signals, an email delivery provider for notifications, and Stripe for payments. Each processes data only on our instructions and only for these purposes.

We keep your profile while your account is active. Credential documents are retained while your verification remains current. Placement and payment records are kept for as long as we need them for accounting and legal purposes. When you delete your account we remove your profile and documents, and retain only records we are required to keep.

• Edit or remove profile information at any time from your profile page.
• Withdraw a credential from verification by deleting it.
• Turn off notification emails from the link in any email we send.
• Ask for a copy of your data, correction of it, or deletion of your account by emailing hello@poachd.co.

Poachd operates in Australia and the United States, and our providers may process data in either region. Where data moves between them, we rely on our providers' contractual protections.

Poachd is for working adults. You must be at least 18 to create an account.

If we make a material change to this policy we will update the date above and notify account holders by email or in the app.
