For tradespeople and technical workers

Create a capability profile

A capability profile records what you can actually do, so companies looking for that exact capability can find you without you applying for anything. It takes about two minutes to start, it is free permanently, and it stays private until you choose otherwise.

Free for tradespeople, permanently. Companies pay for access and on a confirmed placement.

The first two minutes

  • Rank your capability first: tick the licences and systems you have worked on and you have a score out of 100 plus the bones of a profile.
  • Add your region and how far you will travel. This single field decides which work can realistically reach you.
  • Add availability: when your current commitment ends and the roster you will accept.
  • Create the account to keep it, and your Passport exists. Everything after that is refinement.

What to add when you have ten minutes

This is the detail that turns a profile from findable into worth approaching.
  • Named projects with what you were actually responsible for, and at what scale.
  • Scanned licences and tickets, which move you from self-declared to verified.
  • The specific equipment and platforms you have worked on. This is what companies search.
  • A rate expectation, so approaches arrive at a number that is worth your time.

What stays private

  • Your profile is not a public web page and is not indexed by search engines. Nothing on it is published to the open internet.
  • Companies searching Poachd see capability, licences and region - not your name, your current employer or your contact details.
  • You are told when a company unlocks your Passport, and you decide whether to reply.
  • You can switch discoverability off at any time without deleting your record.
